Roman Catholic Bishop of Mandeville

Bishop Tiedemann, C.P. has been serving as Second Consultor since his   election in May 2006 by the 47th Provincial Chapter of the Province of St. Paul of the Cross.

Bishop Tiedemann, C.P. made his first profession as a Passionist on August 22, 1971, his final profession on August 22, 1974, and was ordained to  the priesthood on May 16, 1975.

Bishop Tiedemann, C.P. received an M.A.-M.Div. Degree from St. John's  University, Long Island, NY, in 1976.  Also that year he studied Spanish at the Instituto de Idiomas in Bolivia and in Colombia.

Until his election as Consultor to the Provincial of the Passionists in New   Jersey, Bishop Tiedemann, C.P., worked exclusively in pastoral ministry in the United States and in Honduras:

He was named the 3rd Bishop of the Diocese of Mandeville by Pope Benedict XVI on May 20, 2008.
